Music

Singing together is one of the means we use in our worship services both to tell the story of the gospel and to give us the chance to respond to it. We sing a wide variety of songs from hymns that may be a few hundred years old to contemporary worship songs.

A small band of volunteer musicians accompany our singing with arrangements and instrumentation that seek to locate the songs within our own Appalachian culture.

We believe that music is valuable not only for when we gather together, but also to accompany our everyday lives with melodies that lyrics that life our hearts to the Lord and work the truths of the gospel into our hearts. Use the resources below throughout the week to nourish your soul with beauty and artistry that echoes the beauty of God, as well to get ready to sing along with us on Sunday.
